Join us in making Just Earth Uganda self-sufficient
We have the ambition to grow Just Earth Uganda to more schools as the need is great and to become completely self-sufficient on the way there. The only thing stopping us from helping even more is the financial part. Today, Just Earth Uganda depends on donations to get by, but through the projects you see below we are doing everything we can to both increase the number of students who are educated and minimize the need for donations. If you feel that you want to be part of this journey where we have a chance to transform communities in Uganda, you are most welcome to give in the way that suits you best.

Our projects and the biggest needs right now
Read below about the ongoing projects we have and the impact your gift can make. Also listed below are larger needs.

Project: Coffee plantation
In 2024, the King of Kooki gave us access to 18 hectares of land to start a coffee plantation. We see this as a fantastic opportunity to combine a source of income for the project with the opportunity for better education for our farmers.
In September 2024, half a hectare of coffee was planted and before the end of 2024, another 2 hectares will be planted. Our goal is to plant 5 additional hectares for the next rainy season.
5 hectares are expected to provide an annual income to Just Earth Uganda of
600,000 SEK.
Fundraising goal: SEK 40,000

Needs:
New utility truck
This vehicle has been one of the most important assets in making Just Earth Uganda work. Unfortunately, it is now so old that it is more expensive to own it than to buy a new one. A constant need for new spare parts and a high fuel consumption mean that in the long run a newer utility vehicle will be better both financially and practically. Join us and make this possible below.
Fundraising goal: SEK 400,000

Project: Dairy farm
A major project was started this year to establish a flour farm. Something that is in great demand and will be a major source of income for all our projects in Uganda.
The preparations for the land are complete. What remains to be done is to set up the water system, build the barn for the cows and houses for the workers, and finally buy the cows.
By March next year, we will have enough feed for about 10 cows on the farm.
